As an AWS DevOps specialist, for Banking Applications in the Mumbai region with experience in the Indian banking environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and stability of core banking applications like Finacle, as well as other surrounding digital and payments and enterprise applications. You will be responsible for managing incidents that impact the bank's applications, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless customer experience in area of AWS DevOps, Redhat Openshift.Ensuring prompt resolution of incidents that may hinder the availability, security, and integrity of applications.
Lead and oversee the incident management process for banking applications, ensuring that incidents are identified, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain clear incident management procedures and protocols.
Ensure root cause of IT incidents and development of preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences is done by the application team.
Communicating and collaborating with IT teams, Bank stakeholders, and users to ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, escalation, and resolution.
Documenting incident details, actions, root cause analysis and outcomes to support incident management process improvement and knowledge management.
Assess the severity and impact of incidents to prioritize response efforts effectively.
Classify incidents and ensure they are appropriately categorized for further analysis and resolution.
Managing incident-related workflows, tasks, and resources such as incident records, management tools, staff, vendors, and third-party services.
Conducting incident reviews and post-mortems to review the effectiveness of incident management processes, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Creating and maintaining incident management documentation such as policies, procedures, guidelines, and checklists.
Participating in continuous incident management training and development programs to improve incident management knowledge and skills.
Monitoring IT systems and networks to proactively identify potential incidents and escalate them before they occur.
Prepare incident reports, including incident details, resolutions, and recommendations for improvement.
manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure they meet incident management expectations and service level agreements.
Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are meet regularly.
Ensuring compliance with incident management policies, regulations, and standards.
