Backend Developer

Qualified candidates will be working on:Developing and maintaining automation of software solutions in VMware environments
Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices 
Ensuring monitoring and alerting of all components part our managed VMware platform by using Veeam One Alerts
Reviewing and tuning of operational dashboards to provide observability in non-alerting areas to see if alerting needs to be added
Adjusting monitor and alert thresholds and severities of our managed VMware platform
Reviewing customer discovered incidents to consider additional adjustments
Reviewing alerts that resulted in incidents to ensure all were actionable
Driving monitoring and alerting strategy for all new features that are developed (governance)
Reviewing and analyzing production issues to tune configuration parameters for the alerts
