We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Reconciliation Representative I to join our Reconciliation center of Excellence team. This role is located in Chennai, Tamilnadu - Hybrid
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Core work includes feeds monitoring, custody outreach & communication with all stakeholders.
Complete unbalance review and OI review on TLM & handling related escalations.
Actively seeking out opportunities to improve teams control framework and ensuring controls are carried out in as efficient a manner as possible.
Interprets findings and prepares initial drafts of standard reports and prepares ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders.
Be aware of the risks of team operations and deliverables and ensure required controls maintained and procedures complied with.
Ability to analyze large data sets to look for opportunities to create process efficiencies and streamline procedures.
Timely escalation of issues to Supervisors and Managers.
Complex query resolution and support of more junior team members.
Provide training and guidance (where appropriate) to less experienced co-workers.
Provide support to Team Leaders in the daily review process.
Other project work and ad-hoc tasks as required
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, experience in financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Quick to develop new skills and a pro-active approach to learning and training.
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Problem Solving skills.
Ability to quickly address issues – strong decision making.
Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a pressurized environment.
Proficiency in using Microsoft packages particularly Excel.
Excellent technical and numerical skills, with accurate data manipulation, analysis & checking of work.
Ability to work in office & at home in hybrid working arrangement.
