We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Line of Business Risk II to join our Insight Investment team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
This position requires the holder to have a good knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience, who has an appreciation of industry best practice in crisis management and planning and is able to demonstrate a good understanding of what constitutes a class leading Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
This is a global role which also requires collaboration with stakeholders across Insight's international offices.
A key element of this role is working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that Insight's business resilience objectives are met. He or she will proactively work with business units and partners to help implement practices that meet agreed-on policies and standards for Operational Resilience and Business Continuity. They should understand and articulate the key requirements of policy and be able to assist and advise colleagues on requirements and points of policy detail.
The role will require the holder to have the integrity and confidence to operate comfortably with senior colleagues and possess the awareness of when, what and how to escalate matters of concern. It will also require the facilitation of meetings, the capture of key points and ownership of actions to closure. The role also encompasses the need for managing 3rd party suppliers, typically consultancy firms that support Insight's objective of operating to industry best-practice standards.
Governance
Support the Business Resilience team with the setting and communication of Business Resilience policy - an amalgam of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity policies.
Ensure that records pertaining to compliance with Business Resilience policy are kept and are readily available for 2nd Line of Defence (LOD) and 3rd LOD scrutiny.
Support the Business Resilience team deliver on the FCA's regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience.
Provide direction, guidance and support to Important Business Service (IBS) and Continuity Plan owners to ensure compliance with policy.
Support the Head of Business Resilience deliver on these responsibilities:
Operational Resilience: the compliance with policy, including quarterly metrics and reporting, annual service map reviews, regular stress testing of IBSs and an annual presentation to the Board of the Self-Assessment Paper.
Business Continuity: ensure Business Impact Assessments and Business Continuity plans are prepared in accordance with ISO 22301 and are designed to prioritise IBS resilience. Provide assurance that Technology-led Disaster Recovery exercises provide an adequate challenge that lead to improvements in these plans.
Provide monthly and quarterly KPIs and progress updates in line with governance commitments
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
4+ years of experience in roles related to business resilience or risk management.
ISO22301 experience highly desirable.
