We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate I, Fund/Client Accountingto join ourGlobal Institutional Accountingteam. This role is located inPune/Chennai, Maharashtra/Tamil Nadu - HYBRID. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Under supervision, performs more routine Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in the areas of driving Service Improvement plans, enhancing processes and specialist review functions.. Performs a variety of accounting and net asset value (NAV) review functions (including NAV construction & validation, NAV review, dissemination and reporting activities (Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annual & Annual) for more complex assigned funds. Providing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.Responsible for cash and asset reconciliations related to assigned funds. Performs reconciliation/review of account and ensures they are allocated appropriately. Escalates complex transactions to senior team members. Regularly works with internal clients/teams to exchange information with respect to cash, accounting, and reporting of daily and monthly client activities and initiatives. Communicates data needs and answers client questions with sense of urgency. Responsible for the quality and completion of monthly statements for clients. Liaise with internal teams to ensure all issues are resolved by the Run Date To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 3-4 years of total work experience preferred in similar field Experience in accounting support preferred. Understanding Accounting concepts like General Ledger Accounting, Amortization Understanding of PControl/ Nexen system will be an added benefit.
