Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com.The team you will be a part of:The Finance Operations team reviews, evaluates, develops, implements, maintains and verifies internal and business controls for processes, systems, financial statements, journals and reports in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or the 8th Company Law Directive. Ensures that documentation for all processes across the organization is reviewed and updated periodically. May coordinate with external auditors to prepare the attestation of management assessment on internal controls.This role in summary:This role will be the part of the Global Finance Center located at Gurugram responsible for handling Accounts Receivables Activities for Australia and New Zealand cluster.Shift Timing:Working hours based on Australia and New Zealand Working Hours (IST 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)Key Stakeholders:1.Internal:Australia and New Zealand Finance and business teams, Procurement, IC parties, Treasury and IT2.External:Customers, payment gateways BankYour responsibilities will include:Reconciliation and upload of collections from customers both B2C and D2C.Managing the end to end customer processing (SAP as well as Bank side)Preparation of collection uploaders in SAP for clearing.Review of bank statements daily to ensure all posting in SAP and to avoid bank reconciliation gap at month end,Ensuring collection Net due date updated in the system as per customer Master.Preparation of Rebate tracker for claims and create credit note details in SAPSend Accounts ledger statements to customers monthly.Cash flow updation for customers collection monthly.Creation of customer credit note in SAP along with timely and accurate recording of Customer ClaimsStringent followup with customers for unexplained creditsMaintaining a robust clearing process in SAP to ensure accuracy and up to date records of balancesPreparing and analyzing Customer Aging Statements for timely actionablesEnsuring delivery of agreed KPIs and handling customer queries as requiredRelationship building with overseas stakeholders; effective coordination with various teams and departmentsEnsuring compliance to Internal and SOX Controls; active participation in timely & effective closure of External, Internal Audit.Drive automation projects to bring efficiency and productivityMinimum requirementsNumber of years of Experience:2 - 5 years (including Shared Services, MNC) 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Bank AccountingExpert knowledge of AR processes & its accountingProficient in Google Suite (MS Office may be considered)Education:B Com/M Com/CA(Inter)/ICWA (Inter)Hands-on person with SAP expertise (FICO, MM and SD)Preferred skills and experiences:Experience preferably in a US centric Shared Services environmentGood communication and problem solving skillsOwn it - be personally & collectively in charge for resultsStraight talk – Share honestly, transparently and timelyLead with speed – agility, focus and confidenceWhat we offer:N/AConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool CorporationSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
