Profile Description
We're seeking someone to join our team as (Associate) in Risk Data Issue Goverance team, to resolve persistent and strategic data quality issues across Morgan Stanley's Risk Department. The selected candidate will partner with the Risk Domains and IT to drive solutions to improve quality of risk data within the firm.
Firm Risk Management
In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:
Primary Responsibilities
• Take the lead with independence, ownership and autonomy on complex risk data issues/initiatives and provide support to senior management in remediation and implementation
• Implement consolidated approach on data issue governance framework to ensure consistency and compliance with firmwide policies and procedures on issue management
• Document risk data issues and potential solutions in a clear and concise manner and provide transparency for senior management
• Liaise with various internal stakeholder groups distributed in different regions to achieve desired outcomes and to remediate risk data issues
• Track and produce key risk data quality issues metrics on periodic basis, create reports to senior management
What you'll bring to the role:
Experience, Qualifications
• Possess Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of work experience in the financial services industry preferably in risk management, finance, operation or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise projects and workload
• The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both written and verbally
• Ability to run meetings with multiple stakeholders and business areas
• Strong collaboration, relationship building and teamwork skills
• Financial Risk Management knowledge, demonstrated experience in Project Management, and good working knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL is advantageous
