In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:
•Ability to analyze and interpret the financial statements of Firm's Corporate clients
•Assessment of credit strengths and weaknesses of clients
•Limit excess management with investigation of limit breaches for counterparties
•Conduct in-depth industry research across various sectors such as Oil & Gas, Telecomm, Commodities, Utilities, Shipping, Automobiles, Hospitality and so on across Asia Pacific
Review and recommend credit risk-related transactions for approval
•Conduct industry research and develop sovereign and macro risk views as required to support decision making
•Support senior credit officers with client Due Diligence calls, independent research and establish credit rating of counterparties
•Prepare loan and annual review memos for active/ potential counterparties
•Monitor portfolio quality on an ongoing basis and dynamically update credit views on counterparties, sectors and other risks
•Focus on developing deep domain knowledge and SME capabilities.
•Stay updated on various products, develop industry knowledge and its impact on business, and proactively discuss / share opinions with senior coverage stakeholders.
•Understanding of applicable regulatory and internal policies and standards and their application
•Partner with colleagues across the globe to achieve your goals and to gain insight into how a global organization operates
What you'll bring to the role:
Skills required
•Bachelor's or higher degree and a keen interest in the world of finance and risk management;
•MBA or CA or CFA preferred
•Advanced analytical and numerical skills to assimilate complex information rapidly
•Ability to identify, analyze, condense, and articulate complicated ideas and findings clearly and succinctly
•Superior reading comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills in English
•Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork
Skills desired
•Previous experience (4+ years) in Corporate credit risk management covering Asia at a multinational financial institution is an advantage
•Previous experience of data sources such as SNL, Bloomberg and/or database tools such as SQL coding is a plus
