We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate to join our Compliance and Control team. This role is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu - HYBRID.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Prepare or review submission of various reports for daily and month end records.Prepare various workpapers and calculations as per the statutory norms and timelines laid by boards like FRB, SEC etc.Prepare key reports for Reserve Computation, Net capital requirements etc. under the SEC Customer protection rule.Ensure all tasks allocated are completed accurately within SLA timeline.Report on issues and challenges with team lead and coordinate with Global partners to resolve them on time.Work diligently with the stakeholders to understand the updates and changes in the reporting requirements and deliver accordingly. Maintain Process Updates and documents intact.Provide data to lead/Manager as required.Contribute & Drive Process Improvement ideas and participate in enterprise-wide initiatives.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Minimum Education required would be a bachelor's degree in a financial discipline such as Accounting and FinanceMinimum Experience of 5+ years, preferably with few years in Controls and Compliance department.Experience in a Global Shared Services environment and Clearing & Settlement firms/Broker-dealer firms shall be preferred.Must have good written and oral communications skills in English.Must have good MS Excel skills.Excellent time management and prioritizing skills needed.Must be flexible to work for extended working hours when needed and adaptable to environment.At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
