We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Client Processing II to join our Market Ops – Pershing Support team. This role is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu –HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Providing middle office and operational support for fixed income, structured products and preferred securities
Support Trade life cycle
Facilitate trade flow process & trade settlement
Investigate and resolve fails
Serve as liaison between clearing broker and counterparty in effort to efficiently resolve external settlement/clearing
Actively research/resolve trade discrepancies
Monitor trade status reports
Delivering quality client service and daily support to internal and external clients, including phone and email interaction, transaction processing, trade comparison and account reconciliation.
Benefits: In this role you will gain general knowledge of the industry landscape of financial services and subject matter expertise in trade clearance and settlement. You will build a network of peers within Pershing and BNYM, and gain experience working directly with our clients and industry partners.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education experience is required.
5+ years of total work experience in brokerage processing preferred.
Experience with the Microsoft Office product suite.
Effective communication skills
A desire to collaborate, problem solve and seek innovative ways to improve processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of DTC/Euroclear, Bloomberg, ICELink, ALERT/CTM a plus
