As a Product Manager, you will bring togethercreditcontrol process, policy, and technology to re-thinkthe wholesale lending process end-to-end. You will manage and executeproductstrategiesand approachesthateffecta few areas,includingunderwriting processrisks andcontrols,quantitativemeasurement of benefit of product rollout,success metrics and end-user support. You willbe responsible formanaging requirements,providingdatainsights,and making recommendationsthatmeetsthe needs of differing business lines, regions, and regulatory demands.
To be successful in this role, you will bring an understanding of lending products, how they are underwritten and howriskis managed, and ability to draw insights from datamodels and metrics.Additionally, you will build long-terms partnerships across a variety of stakeholders including Underwriting, Risk, Banking and Technology.
Credit Risk Activities in Scope for Transformation:
Periodic Assessment and Client Monitoring – Transformation of the credit review processes including annual reviews andcriticizedcreditmonitoring.
Originations & Amendments – Transformation of the deal management lifecycle from prospecting through underwriting, credit administration, and booking operations.
Core Services – Transformation of the underlying foundation, data, and functional services that support the above business activities (e.g.financial spreading, collateral management, covenant monitoring, etc.)
Key Focuses:?
Partner extensively withProduct,Developers,Underwriters,Bankersand Riskto developcontrolsformitigatingoperationalrisk andensuringtimely,accurateand completedatafor theirportfolios.
Providingtransparency to stakeholders on the end-to-end underwriting processthroughKPIs, as wellas telling thestory on the quantitative benefits ofthe team'sstrategies.
Build a target state Product Quality Management program by intaking product feedback fromuser'sand working to prioritize to meet their needs with developers.
Drive digital transformation by re-engineering operational business processes, focusing onoptimizingtarget state processes and end-to-end workflow orchestration withemerging technologies like AI.
Support theexecution of the product rollout to stakeholders to meet near-termregulatorycommitments,includingtracking,trainingand direct end-user support.
Partner withstakeholdersto influence policies, standards, and procedures to align withoverallproductstrategy.
Follow market, industry, and client trends and adapt them for application in Citi's products and solutions platforms (AI/ML/etc.)
Qualifications:
6-10years of experience ina creditrisk management, corporate underwriting, front office, or similar role involved in credit analysis, origination, andmonitoring.
Direct experiencewithend-to-end project delivery, preferably in product development methodologies.
Knowledge of processmanagement with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content.
Experience working with data sets/modelsandformulating recommendations based ondata.
Deepknowledge of various analytical tools includingExcel,Tableau, SQL,Python.
Proficiency inperforming data investigations that require a high degree of accuracyundertight timelines.
Expertisein creatingbusiness analyses, troubleshootingdata quality issues, and conductingexploratory and descriptive analyses of business datasets.
Comfortablecreating and leading executive level presentations to key stakeholders in a clear,conciseand articulatemanner.
Understand the firm's overarching vision and keyobjectives, with the ability to confidently communicate the organization's strategy to others.
Proventrack recordofbuildingeffectivestakeholder partnerships and collaborating across the organization.
Strong Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives.
Highly organized,with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while ensuring attention to detail.
