The Ops Sup Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Loan Operations team within Core Operations and ensure seamless delivery
Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members as well as determining staffing needs
Monitor team's end results, ensuring quality and efficiency and contributes to resource planning and formulation of procedures
Supervise & manage teams involved in complex processes.
Lead / participate in strategic initiatives viz. Identify opportunities to reduce the Manual touch points, Enhancing controls through systemic enhancements
Participate in leadership meetings & contribute valuable suggestions ensuring risks and control aspects are properly addressed
Serve as partner to the onshore team in the reengineering initiatives
Ensure the COB strategies are managed well by proactive planning
Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complicated and unique situations
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:
12-15 years of relevant experience in managing operations, prefer Retail / Loan operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills customer focused with excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups.
Demonstrated understanding of complex operation processes, knowledge of Retail, Commercial Loan operations is preferable
Exhibit problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Proven organization and time management skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Candidate should be willing to work in 24*7 shifts including late night shift start timings Should be flexible for any shift timing (rotation shifts, permanent night shifts and late-night shifts)
