Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor mine survey SOPs and use efficient survey Equipment.
Inspect complete Mine area and evaluate mine development progress.
Conduct Monthly measurement of OB dump & Coal dump and estimate volume of production through survey instruments and methods
Conduct mine survey works and create mine maps & plans for coal/OB production
Enter the data in Riscan - Mining software for volumetric estimations
Prepare Toe-Crest data in mining plans/maps prepared
Prepare and update plans & sections in compliance with statutory requirements for existing and expansion of mines
Supervise the daily coal extraction /Stockpile /blast hole/ dump slope stability monitoring/ boundary survey activities and ensure that there is minimal disruption to production or development of the mine..
Prepare short term mine production plans, forecasts and statutory plans
Ensures the maximum and complete mining of coal resources within the mining approved mining plan area
Ensure that all employees and contractors comply with Mine safety and environmental standards and any legislative requirements.
Provide input in preparing the mining Quality Control processes.
Continually review every aspect of the job and make improvements to survey processes
Prepares mining extraction plans, monthly coal extraction reports and overburden removal reports
Ensure timely calibration/maintenance of survey equipment
Provide effective on-the-job training, coaching and performance feedback to ensure employees gain new skills and attain their maximum potential.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Essential: DGMS - Mine Surveyor Certificate-Coal
Desired: Diploma in Mining Engineering
Experience: 5-20 Years
