About _VOIS India
In 2009, _VOISstarted operating in India and now has established global delivery centres in Pune, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. With more than 14,500 employees, _VOISIndia supports global markets and group functions of Vodafone, and delivers best-in-class customer experience through multi-functional services in the areas of Information Technology, Networks, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Digital Business Solutions (Robotics & AI), Commercial Operations (Consumer & Business), Intelligent Operations, Finance Operations, Supply Chain Operations and HR Operations and more.
Key Accountabilities
1. Cover Exadata setups & utilize Oracle enterprise manager.
2.Cover Data Guard, Golden Gate, ASM and RAC related tasks.
3. Provide RAC database machine administration services and database support for Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c,19c and above in clustered environments such as Oracle Cluster ware.
4.Provide DBA implementation and support for Oracle migrations and upgrades, including environments using Oracle Dataguard.
5. Perform software installations, upgrades, migrations, Backup configurations and apply patches
6. Cover database migration, Oracle Backup/Recovery (expdp/impdp, RMAN)
7. Assist in capacity planning.
8. Perform recovery tasks through tools such a ZDLRA & ZFS
