Role : Android System UI DeveloperEducation : Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or similarPrimary skill : Java/Kotlin Programming Language, Android app/platform development experienceExperience Required : 4 to 10 YearsJob Description :Key Responsibilities :· Contribute to android platforms/apps powering automotive infotainment systems.· Strong passion for android as an ecosystem, ideally experience with implementing android apps or working on the android platform level.· Regularly catch up with latest android platform technologies presented on Google's conferences.· Get involved in building best-in-class system user interface.· A desire to learn new things and the ability to understand complex systems.Mandatory Skills :Experience in Android app/platform developmentProficient in Java or Kotlin programming languageExtensive knowledge of Android core building blocks/ app fundamentals and their lifecyclesProficient in OO design patterns and SOLID principlesGood understanding of Android platform architecture and IPC conceptsWorking knowledge in version control tools like Git, Gerrit and GithubFocus on creating best UI solutionsGood ability to gather information and create an overall technical picture about the system in peer-to-peer communication environment with other experienced engineersGreat problem solving skills, ability to navigate complex code bases, a hands-on approachAbility to excel as a team playerProactive ownership of self-progress and team deliveryNice to Have :Hands on expertise in developing/customizing Android System UIHands on Jetpack Compose expertise
