How will you make an impact in this role?
A part of the American Express Consumer Product Team in India, the incumbent will be an integral member of the Product Management team, providing critical inputs in developing and marketing world class consumer payment products for the India consumer business.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, strategic thinker who thrives in a cross -functional
environment and can leverage strong analytical and negotiation skills and a customer-first mindset to uncover insights that drive growth for driving and growing the EMI business.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the merchant team and aggregator partners on improving EMI enablement and acceptance
Drive Credit Card EMI spends through Merchant led offers & alliances
Developing metrics to measure ROI from partnerships & specific Merchant Offers
Campaign Management-ability to negotiate Amex brand visibility for both ATL and BTL campaigns along with the partner.
Manage end to end relation with aggregator partners and merchants to deepen engagement with them for the EMI portfolio.
Drive new initiatives with Top merchants to increase EMI spends from the portfolio.
Analyze impact and performance of each and every campaign from visibility and investment point of view
Granular monitoring of the EMI PnL, with clear ownership and execution of any business growth initiatives
Drive engagement and loyalty through ownership of comprehensive marketing campaigns including the end-to-end customer journey and providing strategic insights and ideas to improve the program based on data analytics.
Be at the driving seat of developing strong marketing contents for various communication assets including product marketing materials and ongoing Cardmember engagement materials
Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Acquisitions, Marketing, Brand, Analytics, Risk, Finance, Operational Excellence, Technology
Minimum Qualifications
At least 3+ years or higher experience, preferably within the product management function with P&L management responsibilities
MBA in Finance or Marketing
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work and collaborate in a complex environment, with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and with external partners
Good understanding of the consumer card business
Experience in credit cards portfolio or EMI/personal loans/BNPL
Project management experience, with a high comfort level for technical complexity
Strong analytical skills with a creative flair
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen and partnership management skills
Ability to take ownership and drive results in areas outside of direct control
A strong team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude during changing work priorities
Strong communication skills (written & oral) with ability to articulate effectively at multiple levels
