Aix Admin

The AIX Admin is an intermediate-level position responsible for providing day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support for the organization's AIX-based systems and infrastructure. This role works closely with senior administrators and cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the AIX environment... You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.

Responsibilities:
The AIX Admin L2 plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the organization's AIX-based systems and infrastructure. This position requires a strong background in AIX administration, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Perform routine administration tasks for AIX servers, including monitoring, patching, backups, and user management
Troubleshoot and resolve AIX-related issues, escalating complex problems to senior administrators
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AIX operating systems, applications, and middleware
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (storage, network, virtualization) to support AIX infrastructure requirements
Participate in the implementation and testing of AIX system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for AIX systems and processes
Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.
