Over the past six years, Disney+ Hotstar has been instrumental in shaping how Indians consume their favourite content, migrating audiences at scale from television to a device of their choice.The incumbent will be responsible for formulating Disney+ Hotstar's Entertainment ad sales proposition on the back of external market intelligence and internal user growth and product/ content innovationsABOUT THE TEAMThe Entertainment PRS team is responsible for developing the overall monetization strategy for Entertainment on Disney+ Hotstar, which includes - supply forecasting, pricing and packaging, and overseeing the ads delivery. Additionally, the team also contributes towards developing an Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Planning through analysis of market trends and internal data.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Disney+ Hotstar's Entertainment Revenue Growth:Collaborate with sales, marketing & creative works team to drive revenue growth for the identified verticalsCreate customized solutions to key advertisers linked to their marketing objectivesAbility to propose advertiser deliverables on Disney+ Hotstar for LCS/SMB businesses to win share of wallet from the brandsBuild customized narratives for why advertisers should invest with D+H: Value proposition laying out points of differentiation vs. other mediumsDevelop deeper insights and understanding of the dynamic market requirements through advertiser/client interaction and facilitate "Why Buy?" propose solutions more suited to client needs, hence resulting in better monetization of advertising opportunities in tune with Digital marketing trends- consumer and customer, New age App industry, Big data and AnalyticsDisney+ Hotstar's Entertainment Consumer behaviour into insights for advertisers:Deep understanding of user behaviour, historical trends and mapping them to market realitiesDevelop advertiser value propositions linked to our position of strength on these metrics vs. other digital & TV mediumsAbility to learn various D+H internal tools to provide support to the sales team for business growthStrategic outlook to the portfolio business:Constantly review current methodologies, tools and indexes and incorporate new approaches to pitch and present our products to advertisers and sponsors.Develop tracking mechanisms & prepare various dashboards to increase sales efficiencies and catch inefficiencies in a good market. Building sharp execution templatesBuild relevant post-evaluation process:Understand how advertisers measure campaign success: Key metrics used, 3rd party evaluations done (Nielsen, Kantar etc.)Collaborate with the measurement team to develop key elements of the client's evaluation decksCollaboration:Effectively collaborate with the front-line sales team & different sales strategy teams (Ad Tech, Ad Ops and Brand solutions)SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESSStructured problem solver - Ability to develop solutions in an ambiguous environmentStrong in analytics with a high comfort around Excel modelingShould have worked in inter-team and intra-team collaborative rolesPREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCETotal experience of 5-7 years, out of which preferably 3-5 years of strategy consulting experienceABOUT USDisney+ Hotstar is India's leading streaming platform that has changed the way Indians watch their entertainment - from their favourite TV shows and movies to sporting extravaganzas.
