Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead our Global Product & Platform Solutions (GPPS) team. GPPS will be an expert team, consisting of a diverse pool of skilled professionals, is dedicated to driving product initiatives and engineering excellence across the company. This team will seamlessly integrate with other groups within the Technology organization, augment talent and co-work on priorities, building innovative tech solutions & driving engineering excellence through their diverse expertise

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision:Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the engineering team, aligning with organizational goals to drive innovation and excellence.
Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, diverse engineering team of 200+ engineers. Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and shared accountability.
Resource Management:Assess project requirements and prioritize engineering assignments to ensure effective resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
Cross-Functional Integration:Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to establish clear project objectives and timelines, ensuring seamless integration and communication.
Innovative Solutions:Drive the development of innovative technology solutions that address complex challenges. Encourage experimentation and the adoption of emerging technologies.
Engineering Excellence:Establish and uphold best practices in engineering processes, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality, scalability, and performance.
Performance Metrics:Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of engineering initiatives, using insights for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, resource needs, and strategic opportunities for growth.
Key Requirements:
15+ years of increasing responsibilities in large scale and access management engineering leadership
Experience leading technical teams of 200 and greater at a company with large scale.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools. Familiarity with current and emerging technologies.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate across various levels and departments
Strong analytical skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record for leading a team to build, launch and maintain critical identity strategies that brings the team and leadership along in the evolution of strategy
A change architect, adept at dealing with ambiguity, working at pace and prioritizing changing requirements. Particularly, brings experience transforming to the cloud and modernizing a technical stack.
The successful candidate will be an acknowledged subject matter expert and thought leader across engineering and systems.
Demonstrated understanding of product software development.
Strong business and commercial acumen and insights to validate and inform business development opportunities.
Experience influencing and aligning partners across different points of view or functions, to drive action and change
Understand the needs of the constituents and building a long-term vision for the products & platform
Engage with different engineering teams on problem discovery and solutioning
Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities, i.e., managing complex deliverables and maintaining high-quality data standards while meeting project timelines
Highly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams in a highly compelling, persuasive, fact-based manner.
Adept at working cross-functionally with technology and product teams to create, implement and evolve our reporting solutions offering tangible, measurable client results.
