The role ofVice President – Operations Analyticsis based at Citi Analytics & Information Management (AIM) Center. The key requirement for the role is the ability to lead a team in understanding the business objective, formulating the Analytics solution and work with business partners to deliver and execute the solutions. VP should be able to provide thought leadership and guide the team to deliver the project objectives and present the results in a coherent manner to senior stakeholders. The individual should possess executive presence, proven ability to lead teams and be proactive in leading new initiatives to improve the team. The individual should provide mentoring, coaching to team members and motivate the team to deliver on business priorities

Business/ Department Objectives:
Provide analytic support to the Global Operations Analytics to help COOs with reducing cost of Operations, improving customer experience while managing operational risk. Work with business teams to understand the business context, formulate and execute appropriate repeatable analytical framework to address the business situation. Independently manage end to end partner communication.

VP will be a part of Global Operations Analytics team at AIM and Workforce Management team with a team size of 6 to 12 people.

In this role you are expected to:

1. Analytic Project Execution: Ability to lead team members and deliver analytic solutions on complex projects Ability to translate Operational priorities into vision for Analytics team and drive execution of vision through projects and initiatives Measure & Own the business impact of work, Set and manage partner expectations, Manage timeliness around project priorities Improves business processes to drive efficiencies Is able to coach/ mentor team members on theory/ practical applications of relevant tools & techniques Provide thought leadership to continuously challenge and improve the team
2. Business Knowledge: Develop business context and knowledge. Proactively seek out best practices and adopt the same in day to day functioning.
3. Communication: Independently manage communication with Global partners. Ability to influence senior partners and establish as a thought leader with Analytics and Operations partners
4. People management: - Improve the overall competency of the team and create an ecosystem that promotes innovation and continuous learning
5. Team work: Collaborate with colleagues to leverage best practices

As a successful candidate, should ideally have the following skills and exposure:

Education:
Degree in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics etc. from Premier Institute or a track record of performance that demonstrates this ability.

Masters degree preferred

Experience:
Experience in Contact Center Operations Analytics

Exposure to Financial Services

10+ Years of Analytical Experience

Skills:Analytical Skills:
1. Proficient in Formulating Analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with data
2. Business Impact Analysis
3. Hypothesis testing, Knowledge of Segmentation
4. Basic Knowledge of predictive modeling
5. Simple Optimization

Tools and Platforms:

1. Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint
2. Proficient in Python/ R/ SAS/Pyspark
3. SQL, Tableau preferred
4. Familiarity with RDBMS - Teradata/ Oracle, etc

Soft Skills:
1. Highly Self motivated
