Vice President, Credit Risk – Credit Modeler/Structured Finance for Alternative Fund Structures

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Credit Risk – Credit Modeler/Structured Finance for Alternative Fund Structures to join our Credit Risk  team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 
Participates in and assists in evaluating loan commitments to Structured Finance Vehicles managed by Financial Sponsors.  May also be required to review loans to other Alternative fund structures. 
Will be responsible for modelling portfolio downside scenarios and providing and defending stress-testing assumptions.
Reviews and challenges the underwriting team's (1LOD) proposals, in particular, all modeling and stress testing analysis. 
Prepare and review financial models, leads fund level financial statement and asset level analysis, cash flow analysis, etc.
Where necessary, will participate in client due diligence meetings to facilitate credit decisions and/or assists in problem resolution
Provides appropriate credit guidance to the underwriting team and collaborates in defining appropriate credit risk appetite
Will be required to contribute to the Portfolio Management Committee meetings and Portfolio Review meetings with senior management.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 
Bachelor's degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA is preferred.  At least 10 years of total work experience is preferred; experience in risk analysis is essential.
At least 7 years of experience in financial industry, preferably related to Loan Finance, CLOs or Structured Finance is essential.
Excellent financial modeling skills including the ability to build financial models.
Understanding and experience in modeling credit structures for SPVs including underlying asset volatility, expected default rates and recoveries.
Credit/Portfolio Risk management experience, specifically in the Alternative Fund space.
Leverage Finance experience would be a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or quantitative discipline
Ability to communicate skillfully and effectively with involved stakeholders
Robust analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity and attentiveness to detail
