The Supply Chain (SC) Supplier Specialist 5 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in procurement activities such as placing orders, receiving delivery and identifying comparable supplies and suppliers in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the end-to-end supplier lifecycle process from supplier risk assessment, to bidding, selection, contracting, and payment
Support and implement the establishment of Citi policies and standards
Maintain supplier risk management tools and frameworks
Contribute to deliverables associated with supplier management programs, Citi contingency plans, tracking process for critical suppliers and operation strategy planners, compliance tracking, reporting, system enhancements and testing, and applicable risk management metrics
Contribute to projects for vendor management
Service an expansive and diverse array of products and services
Recommend new options to enhance productivity
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of relevant experience
Basic knowledge of the organization, the business, and its policies required
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
