The team you will be a part of
The Quality Assurance team analyzes and implements quality standards for components, materials or services. Applies measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures to ensure that quality standards are met. Prepares reports and recommends improvements. Collaborates with suppliers and ensures effective corrective actions are implemented when needed and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs
This role in summary
Guarantee Control Plan and Quality Gates, Governance and Safe Launch Achievement of NPI & Footprint for the owned Category. Satisfy Customers by addressing Improvement Plans and KPI performance according to PP. Coach and support Plants to implement a 'zero defect' Quality System from Reactive to Preventive by applying the Quality Control logic (WPS approach).
Your responsibilities will include
Act as Subject Matter Expert Drilling-wide to define Quality improvement plans and execution to deliver Quality targets on new and existing product / TCQ (GSIR, Liability, PEX, etc.)of the owned Category.
Being the Voice of Quality for new product launches
Demonstrated success in driving Cross Functional alignment and preventing / solving complex high value quality issues
Demonstrated ability to translate vision and strategy into team goals and targets
Collect and monitor Quality Manufacturing KPIs through a standard Dashboard on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly base.
Inspire the organization to create value and sustainable competitive advantage
Validate Control Plans and monitor their strict application in the Plants.
Periodically review significance and effectiveness of the KPIs as defined on the basis of new Business, Quality and Customer needs.
Guarantee monitoring and improvement of Manufacturing qualitative performances by coaching Plants' on the correct executing of 8D process on improvement Plans (Reaction ? Prevention).
Manage and coach MQEng resources in order to achieve knowledge acquisition on Processes and gradually better ownership on Plants Governance.
Be Accountable for all the issues related to Manufacturing Processes on all Plants belonging to the owned Category.
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google collaboration tools
Cooperate with OE(MTLs) and Plants to support NPI & Footprint guaranteeing the qualitative Safe Launch and its deployment on Plants' Quality System.
Cooperate with Product Quality Leaders and GPO to address specific issues related to Product detected on Manufacturing Processes.
Approve Best Practices and drive harmonization inside /within Plants
Attend educational activities.
