This functionfacilitatesenhanced delivery capability toeffectivelymanage the increasing pipeline of critical technology, regulatory, risk and control-based programs.
Position Description:SeekingaseasonedData and Business Analyst to join the Strategic Program Execution(SPE) team. This role sits at the heart of theSPEstrategyinthe Cyber Data Risk and Resilience(CDRR)division.The qualified candidate willbringtheir advancedexpertisein data mining, analyticsand visualizations, and critical thinkingtotheCross DivisionalProgram. Business engagement and business enablement are fundamental to success.
In thisfunction,data manipulation and cleansing, quality control, proficiency in cleaning and preparing data for analysis, including handling missing or inconsistent data, will be required ofa multitude of large datasets with varyingtypes andformats.Data visualization issubsequentlypivotal to crafting theapplicablemessage to the right audience.Theability to create visual representations of data using MorganStanleytools, advanced skills in designing charts, graphs, dashboard to convey insights effectively arerequired.Timeliness, attention to detail,and ensuring data accuracy are key to storytelling, such that meticulous dataqualitychecks are necessary to ensure consistent integrity of the data ismaintainedthroughout.
A successful candidate uses analytical and critical thinking. They areequally comfortable working independently and collaboratively. They have strongproblem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, and excel inidentifyingtrends,patternsand anomalies in the data, particularly essential when dealing with disparate datasets.Theyhavecapacityto assess situations objectively and evaluate data from different perspectives.They are balanced with a confident can-do attitude but arenot a 'yes-person.'They are skilled in questioning assumptions and validating data driven conclusions.They are customer focused notonlycrafting the data message, but alsoinengagementmodel.They area self-starter,planner, and are execution and delivery focused. The qualified candidate understands the importance ofestablishingthemselves as a reliable 'source of truth,'building relationships andpartnering across a range of contributors.Given the impact of this role, commitmentto data integrityanddata interpretationarekeys to success, and a good sense of humor never hurts.
