Functional Description
Positions in Risk Management lead the development of credit, operational, enterprise, and fraud policies designed to profitably grow the portfolio, while ensuring excellent customer experience. These policies utilize mathematical models and other techniques to understand and predict customer behavior. At the analyst level, the employee is beginning to develop expertise in the field. Receives general instruction on moderately complex problems and issues.
Responsibilities
Incumbent will be part of the India Risk Team and would be responsible to manage and support towards the effective and comprehensive functioning of bank's committees related to Credit Risk.
Partnering closely with key bank stakeholders to develop and maintain Credit Risk Management Policies
Competent to understand RBI regulations and will be responsible to ensure adherence for Credit risk function of the bank.
Leading cross-business Regulatory initiatives and relationships with credit bureaus.
Incumbent would be responsible for ensuring timely submission of data for onward regulatory reporting.
Incumbent will be responsible to provide necessary support for managing the internal and external audits (Including RBI & NYSDFS) relating to Credit risk management function.
Ensuring understanding, alignment, and compliance of American Express Management Policies.
Minimum Qualification
Degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, MBA, or similar background preferable.
Strong analytical, relationship and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment, and a multitasker.
Good experience of working upon analytical tools like Hive, SQL, MS Excel, etc.
