Location: Delhi NCR /Bangalore /Hyderabad / Chennai/Pune/Mumbai/ Kolkata/ Trivandrum(Hybrid Mode)
Shift timings: -
It is rotational, and the working schedule will likely be 4 days on and 4 days off, with hours per day including a 90 mins. break (subject to change as per management's discretion).
UK time it's 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.

The EMEA Services Delivery function delivers professional and managed services to Insight's clients across a broad range of technology and software offerings, delivers a scaled and consistent client experience, and employs methodologies through the following centers of excellence;

The Customer Operations team provides high quality customer support across assigned regions from multiple delivery centers. 
The Engineering team provides automated and scripted innovative migration and implementation activities in order to achieve maximum efficiency, consistency, and performance. 
The Optimization & Governance team provides expertise in optimization and compliance services to clients on-premises or in the Cloud whilst maintaining cost efficiencies and savings. 
The Service Design & Delivery team, and each of its subfunctions, leads on designing client solutions in partnership with Insight's clients before planning and executing end-to-end engagements. 
The Digital Innovation team explores and drives first-of-type innovations around technology including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Connected Sensors, and Robotics.
The Technology Solutions Group, through technology and business practice leadership, takes responsibility for the overall service strategy, and subsequent solution, and services development by a team of solution developers, product designers, and agile leaders. TSG also governs the repeatable processes, tools, and automation underpinning Insight's service delivery.

Complementing each of the centers of excellence is the Service Delivery Management team, located in every country, which manages the client experience and ensures a truly client-centric approach across EMEA, and also the Services Operations & Transformation team which drives operational excellence and business improvements across all areas within the Services Delivery function.

The Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring security systems and platforms, analysing security alerts, and escalating potential security threats to senior team members for further investigation.  The role will have a basic understanding of security operations and be able to work collaboratively with our clients and other team members to ensure that we provide the best possible service. The role will support multiple clients on a 24/7 basis and will require participating in a shift pattern.

As a Security Analyst, you will get to:

Conducting or assisting with security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. 
Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect our clients' IT environments. 
Staying up to date on the latest security trends and technologies to ensure that our services are state-of-the-art. 
Monitoring and triaging security alerts.
Investigating security incidents.
Gathering information to support investigations.
Responding to security incidents in a time and appropriate manner.
Documenting and reporting security incidents.
Participating in shift rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage.KEY RESULT INDICATORS & MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Key Result Indicator
Time to triage and respond to security alerts.
Accuracy of incident investigation and documentation.
Timely resolution of security incidents.
Customer satisfaction with incident response.

Measure of success
Incident response and triage will be measured against SLAs via platform tools.
Analyst response and accuracy will be measured by post incident review and Senior Analyst sampling of triaged incidents.
Resolution of incidents will be measured against SLAs via platform tools
Post incident response process.
Feedback from clients on mitigation advice via SDM channels.

We are looking for a Security Analyst with::
, KNOWLEDGE
Essential
Relevant experience in a security operations center or related field.
Knowledge of security concepts, including threat actors, attack methods, and common vulnerabilities.
Basic knowledge of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and IDS/IPS
Understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SMTP
Familiarity with security best practices and industry standards, such as CIS, NIST and ISO
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
Ability to analyze and interpret security event logs
Understanding of security technologies and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Desirable
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Industry recognized Security Qualifications: GCIH/GCIA/OSCP/CSSP/CISSP
Industry-recognized Qualifications: networking, firewalls etc
