Role Headline
In this role of Portfolio consulting Professional, you shall be responsible for technical sales support, pre-sales & BD activities for Electrification & Automation business unit with special focus on digitalization, Sustainability and Cyber security topics.
Responsibilities of the Role :
•Responsible for technical sales support, pre-sales & BD activities for Electrification & Automation business unit
•Possess & further gain knowledge on Primary and Secondary AIS & GIS portfolio and associated digitalization capabilities under our SaaS based offerings.
•Possess & further gain knowledge on cyber risks in power systems & our solutions
•Demand creation for Digitalization, sustainability & cyber security portfolio in various market segments via proactive customer engagements.
•Special focus on Green hydrogen projects, related Govt. policies, various investments, capacity building etc. for early customer engagements for EA portfolio push
•Conduct Presentations / workshops/ factory visits/ demos as part of BD activities
•Proactive engagement with consultants & designers through consultative selling approach
•Supporting front end Regional Sales teams by driving prescription actions & technical sales support
•Gather market knowledge on competitor products, create comparisons & suitably strategize basis their strengths & weakness.
•Collaborate with other vertical market managers & Business units for market visibility and initiation advance prescription & BD actions.
•Regular data inputs in TS tracker files and slides, reflecting pre-sales actions and its outcome for periodic internal review meetings
•Active participation in Industry Events / Fairs / Internal events/ Customer days etc.
What we are looking for is
•Candidate with regular Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from reputed institute with good academics
•10-12 years of experience in roles of Pre-sales, Business development, prescription function, technical sales support, tendering activities in field of electrification & automation.
•Should be self-starter, pro-active with a strong desire for business development & consultative selling approach.
•Well versed in preparing value proposition-based presentations for an effective technical pitch
•Flexible for frequent business trips across India based on the allocated tasks and business needs/ activities.
•Strong desire for developing lasting customer relationships
•Fast learner, good verbal and written communication skills with growth mindset
