We seek a highly experienced Sr. Practice Manager - Data to join our team with proficiency in Software Design and Development, data modelling, data processing and data visualization. This person should have been involved in different phases related to Software Development Lifecycle including Analysis, Design, Development and Deployment.
Responsibilities –
The business intelligence (BI) and data warehouse (DW) Data engineer will focus on delivering the vision of the customer through process, development, and lifecycle. They will work directly with stakeholders and team members to define, design, and deliver actionable insights while working with ETL developers and BI developers in an agile environment.
Create Data Pipelines through ADF, SQL Queries, and Synapse Analytics
Power BI report development
Fixing and improving existing data Ingestion Pipelines for customers
Data Engineering with Azure Data factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks & MS Power BI
Formulates and recommends standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the DW ecosystem.
Participates in the DataOps activities for supporting various customer problem-statement/situations.
Develop business cases and ROI for the customer/clients.
Evangelize self-service BI and visual discovery while helping to automate any manual process at the client site.
Champion data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the organization by designing and promoting best practices.
Data operation support activities
Provide assistance to DW/DE team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge.
Provide on-the-job training for new or less experienced team members.
Develop a technical excellence team
Qualification:
4+ years of experience designing business intelligence solutions
4+ years of experience with ETL Process, Data warehouse architecture
4+ Years of experience with Azure Data services i.e. ADF, ADLS Gen 2, Azure SQL dB, Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Power BI
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies i.e. agile
Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation.
Strong problem solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Keen to learn new languages and technologies
